Samastipur : pusa Bihar The 7th Inter-College Sports Competition 2025 of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University was inaugurated today at the Tirhut College of Agriculture, Dholi campus.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of Vice-Chancellor Dr. P.S. Pandey, Chief Guest Shri Vishwajeet Dayal, City SP, Muzaffarpur, and Director Student Welfare Dr. Raman Tripathi.The Vice-Chancellor, in his address to the students, emphasized the importance of sports in promoting unity,
sportsmanship, and competitive spirit. He also highlighted the achievements of the university's students in various national and international competitions over the past two years.The Chief Guest, Shri Vishwajeet Dayal, expressed his pride in being an alumnus of the university and appreciated the rapid progress made by the university in recent years, particularly in digital agriculture.
The Director Student Welfare, Dr. Raman Tripathi, welcomed the guests and encouraged the students to draw inspiration from the university's successful alumni and strive for excellence.The three-day competition will feature 19 individual events and 7 team events, with over 700 students from eight colleges participating. The competition will conclude on March 27, 2025. Prominent dignitaries present at the inauguration ceremony included Dean TCA Dr. P.P. Singh, Director Research Dr. A.K. Singh, Director Extension Dr. Mayank Rai, Director Seed Dr. D.K. Rai, and several other faculty members and officials.
