Samastipur ,began today. During the admission process Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr. P.S. Pandey inspected the admission pandal and discussed with the parents and students who have arrived from different states to take admission.
Dr. Pandey said that the admission process has been centralised this year to ensure that there should be no inconvenience to students and parents.
He said that this year, all admission arrangements have been centralized to prevent students from running around.
Separate stalls have been set up for certificate verification, medical checks, online fee deposition, hostel allotment, bank account openingand and other processes at single place. Hostel allocation will be done immediately after admission and students will go directly to the hostel.
VC personally inspected all stalls during the admission process and interacted with students and parents. He also instructed staff to provide quality food, snacks, and refreshments to the students and their guardians. Registrar Dr. Mritunjay Kumar said help desks have been set up at Pusa, Samastipur, and Muzaffarpur stations for out-of-state students.
Transportation and food arrangements have been arranged for students and parents.Rooms have been allocated at Kisan Bhavan for parents who wish to stay overnight. The admission process will continue for two days, as students from distant states are expected to arrive by evening today and complete admission tomorrow.As of now, around 60% of seats out of approx 450 seats in various disciplines have been filled in today's admission process.
